Virtual Teacher of Visually Impaired in KY

A contract position is available for a Teachers for the Visually Impaired specializing in telehealth services. This role offers a very part-time schedule, requiring approximately 4 hours per month, and is open to remote applicants.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students using telehealth platforms.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with families and educational staff to monitor student progress and adapt educational strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the program.

Qualifications:

• Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license is required.
• Experience working with visually impaired students.
• Ability to manage a small, manageable caseload efficiently.
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and virtual teaching methods.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location: Position based in Tyner, KY, but open to applicants working remotely.
