Overview

As schools navigate an evolving educational landscape and a nationwide shortage of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), telehealth has become an essential tool for closing service gaps and ensuring students receive mandated support. This webinar is designed for school psychologists, BCBAs, counselors, social workers, and other school-based behavior health professionals. Participants will gain practical, evidence-based strategies for effective telehealth implementation and leave with actionable tools they can apply immediately, including a ready-to-use checklist for conducting successful direct observations in practice.

What You'll Learn

  1. Identify the growing need for telehealth behavior services and review the evidence supporting their effectiveness. (NASP Domain 1: Data-Based Decision Making)
  2. Describe collaborative, evidence-informed methods for implementing behavior strategies and monitoring challenging or interfering behaviors. (NASP Domain 4: Mental and Behavioral Health Services and Interventions)
  3. Apply proactive, antecedent-based strategies to real-world scenarios through case study analysis. (NASP Domain 6: Services to Promote safe and Supportive Schools)
