About VocoVision: We're thrilled to partner with a Kentucky school district in the quest for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our professional team. At VocoVision, we link schools with highly skilled tele-practitioners like you. Our platform enables you to efficiently treat, teach, assess, and inspire students, whether it's an individual session or managing an entire caseload. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely on a full-year or short-term basis.

Position Details:

Employment Type: 24/25 school year
Full-Time: 37.5 hours/week
Caseload: Mild to Moderate Disabilities
K-12: ~50 students
Compensation: $50-$55/hour

Qualifications:

Master's Degree (CCC's preferred)
2+ years of school experience
1+ year of virtual experience
Professional liability insurance
Active Kentucky License and teaching certificate

Essential Functions:

Identify students with speech and language handicaps through multi-factored evaluations
Assist in developing curriculum guides and local policies related to speech and language handicaps
Provide tele-service for school and community related to speech and language handicaps
Deliver speech/language services via a HIPAA/FERPA compliant platform
Plan programs of study, incorporating best practices and leading to desired learning outcomes
Develop Individualized Educational Plans and communicate goals to parents and school personnel
Demonstrate knowledge of unique student characteristics and establish clear objectives for lessons
Attend conferences, maintain records, and collaborate with parents and colleagues
Uphold ethical standards, maintain licenses, and participate in professional development
