Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team of educators in providing virtual speech therapy services to students enrolled in our virtual school program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric speech therapy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting the communication and language development of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results.
  • Provide virtual speech therapy sessions to students using evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication needs.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Washington State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based or teletherapy setting.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
  • Comfortable using technology for virtual therapy sessions and documentation.
