Details:
- Caseload: Mild to Moderate Disabilities (30-35 students)
- Middle School Students only (1 school)
- Weekly Pay at $45-$55 per hour worked
- Full -Time preferred (37.5 hours per week) but multiple Part-Time will be considering as secondary options
Your Critical Responsibilities:
- Deliver remote evaluations and treatment for diverse learners with speech impairments, taking into account the distinctive needs of students in Nevada.
- Collaborate with the team to provide diagnostic recommendations and plan IEP goals, tailoring approaches to meet Nevada's educational standards.
- Act as an expert in oral communication, speech, language, and literacy development, aligning with Nevada's educational framework.
- Collect and analyze data to contribute to school improvement and meet accountability requirements within the context of Nevada's educational policies.
Your Essential Qualifications:
- Advantageous experience in remote therapy, with an understanding of Nevada's educational landscape.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, considering the diverse student population in Nevada.
- Proficiency in relevant software with adept troubleshooting abilities, ensuring effective remote interactions specific to Nevada's requirements.
- Dedication to empowering students with diverse backgrounds, respecting the cultural nuances of Nevada.
Your Vital Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in a school setting, acknowledging the unique challenges and opportunities present in Nevada.
- Active SLP license in Nevada and Teaching Certification in Nevada, ensuring compliance with the state's licensing regulations.
